Text Box: State Meeting January 16, 17 & 18, 2009 Make your plans now to attend the Georgia Winnie Rebels State Meeting in Elko, Georgia, at Twin Oaks RV Park. Please call the campground at 478-987-9361 to make your reservation and tell them you are with the Georgia Winnie Rebels. The host chapter for this meeting is the Sta-Goners. Contact Tom and Ronnie Padgett at 478-971-4017 to let them know you are coming. The reservation deadline date is January 10th. Make your reservations early so we can all be together. At this meeting, new officers for all chapters will be sworn in. We also will wrap up any outstanding business for the April rally. GWR had twelve coaches in attendance at the Louisiana State Rally in Rayne, LA. Two units rolled in early and ten coaches arrived in a caravan on Tuesday afternoon. We all had a wonderful time with tours, food and entertainment. Some photos are posted on the website with more coming. If anyone has any ideas for another caravan adventure next year, please let me know. We are still in need of a 2nd Vice President!!! If you would be interested in stepping forward and assisting the club in this important position, let me know at the state meeting or contact me if you have any questions.
